The Plate Magnet, also called a Magnetic Plate, is a highly efficient industrial solution designed to remove ferrous and metallic contaminants from powders, granules, and bulk materials in hoppers, chutes, feeders, or conveyor systems. Manufactured by Galaxy Magnetics, it is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, plastic, mineral processing, and recycling industries, ensuring superior product quality and protecting downstream machinery from tramp metals.
The Plate Magnet uses high-intensity magnetic bars or plates to attract and capture ferrous particles as materials pass beneath or through the unit. Its simple yet effective design allows continuous separation, minimal material loss, and smooth material flow, making it ideal for medium- to large-scale industrial operations. The flat design enables easy integration into hoppers, chutes, and conveyors, while also allowing for quick cleaning and maintenance.
Constructed from premium-grade steel and robust magnetic elements, Galaxy Magnetics’ Plate Magnets are durable, corrosion-resistant, and built to withstand harsh industrial environments. Customizable options include magnetic strength, plate size, and configuration to suit various materials, flow rates, and operational requirements.
Easy to install, operate, and maintain, the Plate Magnet ensures consistent ferrous removal, improved product quality, and optimized operational efficiency. Trusted for precision, durability, and long-term performance, it provides a cost-effective, high-performance solution for industrial magnetic separation needs.
